Special Interest Groups
The club hosts a number of special interest groups organised by members. There have been two groups this season, the 5-Image Group and the Contemporary Photography Group.
Members of the 5 image group aimed to make a collection of images on some common subject or theme of the each individual member's choice. The suggested number of images was 5 as in the name, but individual members were free to make as many images as they chose. Most members made digital images though some members made prints and one made a zine.
The Contemporary Photography Group is a support group for members interested in non-traditional photographic styles. It's aim was to provide a home for members who were already pursuing non-traditional styles and to provide encouragement and support for those interested in expanding their photographic horizons.
