 Thornbury are winners of this year's Barrian Cup held at Barry Camera Club on 6th June 2026, judged by Trevor James, ARPS, AWPF, BA Tons. 

The final results were:   1st     Thornbury Camera Club    95 points
                                            2nd   Rhonda Camera Club        94 points
                                            3rd    Morriston Camera Club     92 points

Thornbury had a clean sweep of all three trophies for this competition. 

The Best Landscape/Seascape for the Dave Cowdrey Trophy went to Lighthouse and Flotsam by Brian McBride.
The Best Print in the competition for the Mike Lewis Trophy went to William by Rob England.

The scores for our entries were:
       William  - Rob England - 20 points
       Lighthouse and Flotsam - Brian McBride - 20 points
      Grey Heron with Catch - George Collett - 18 points
      Sunrise over Bryce - Mike Ashfield - 17 points
      Bar-Tailed Godwit - Martin Cooper - 20 points
